Refund Policy
Refund Eligibility Window
Delegate registration fees are refundable in full if a written refund request is received by the Secretariat on or before 5 October 2026. Requests submitted after 5 October 2026 will not be eligible for a refund, as committee allocations and venue commitments are finalized from that date.
Security Clearance Exception
If a delegate's security clearance is not approved by the Special Branch, the registration fee will be refunded in full regardless of the date on which the decision is issued. Clearance outcomes are outside the delegate's control, and BYMUN 2026 does not penalize delegates for adverse security decisions.
Delegate Transfer / Substitution
A confirmed delegate may transfer their registration to another eligible applicant up to 5 October 2026. The substitute must complete the standard delegate application process and receive approval from the Secretariat. Transfers after 5 October 2026 are not permitted.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email secretariat@bymun.org with your full name, Delegate ID, and the reason for cancellation. Requests must be received on or before 5 October 2026 to be eligible.
Processing Timeline
Approved refunds are processed within 96 hours of Secretariat confirmation. Refunds are issued via the original payment method (bKash or bank transfer). The Secretariat will contact the delegate to confirm refund details before processing.
Conference Cancellation
If BYMUN 2026 is cancelled or postponed by the organizers, all confirmed delegate registration fees will be refunded in full regardless of the date, and no administrative deductions will apply.
